The fighting finishes using an armistice on 27 July 1953 and also the generation of the demilitarised zone, separating the two Koreas. Up to 3 million persons are killed within the war.The southern and western parts of the peninsula have nicely-created plains, whilst the eastern and northern components are mountainous. The highest mountain in Korea
